Question Sys Specs

Hi Folks,

Pleae help me out with this as I am about to order the comps:

my choosen comps are:

ABit IC7, I did not go for the the G version as they are the same specs apart from MAX has LAN features which I dont need, I hope I am right !!
HDD: I am going for WD raptor SATA 36GB
P4 2.4C 800FSB
Corsair TwinX 1024Mb 4000ProSeries (2 x 512MB PC4000 Matched Pair DDR) with Activity LEDs.
Radeon 9500 Pro with 128MB

I am aiming to OC to >3.0GHz is this now possible? or am I just wasting my hard earning cash !!
I am aware that I need to get a water cooler, so here is my choice:
Thermaltake Aquarius II Water Cooler, Is this sufficient to keep the CPU happy or Is there another choice?

Please help me sort this out

;-)

Viper

Using a good PSU, 3ghz should be a breeze. AFAIK, liquid cooling should not be necessary. I hear people get 3.2-3.3 using the retail HSF.

Get the Raptor for sure, greatest none SCSI hard drive ever made.

From everything I've read, do no get the Aquarius II. I've heard nothing but bad things. I can however suggest the Corsair Hydrocool 200.
Like SteveI said you don't need water cooling.

Good Power supply is a defiant plus.

If I didn't get a 9700pro, I would have wanted to get the 9500pro.
