Pentium4 at 63c

Hey guys, is it ok for my P4 3.06GHz at 3.402GHz to run 63c(mega max load) with prime95 running 10mins and playing a song and surfing the net at the same time?
I have a Cooler Master jet4 and I do plan to lap it, what can I expect from that?
System Specs:
Intel Pentium4 3.06GHz at 3.402GHz 533MHz fsb at 591 and 1.55vcore at 1.715vcore.
1 GB of DDR 2700 Dual Channel Memory, viking o/c'ing memory
ASUS P4G8X Deluxe mobo
60 and 40 gb hdds ATA-133
420watt Raidmax PSU
ATI Radeon 9600Pro.

So, please tell me about the temp trouble.

I found that with P4's upping the Vcore did nothing for stability.

It only made things toasty

wow, it has helped me out substantially man, it would not stay stable at 3.2 before I messed with the vcore, and now, prime95 plus PCmarks cannot even lock it up.

Alex am I right in thinking that your FSB is 533

And if so is your system bus 133?

Therefore you must have a multiplier of 23? (133*23=3059)

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Not quite! We only currently allow official AOA teams to have their team logo in their signature. That goes for staff as well as members! If you want a logo in your signature, the easiest way is to join Team 45.

63C seems a little high. my P4 (see sig) runs at about 52C full load, if the temp gets close to 60C, i go in for a dust cleaning.

what kind of cooling do you have on it? if you get it cooler, you may be able to push that OC a little more.

Well, mine is the 3.06GHz at 3.45GHz, so heat is imminant, but 63c is a bit high, I have an unlapped jet4 with the generic thermal compound.
