I'm really liking Canonical's work at this point. Mark Shuttleworth is just saying to people, "what's not the way it should be and how can I make it better for you?" then dumping cash and resources on the problem until its fixed nicely.

They make a very fine operating system in Ubuntu too.

Is this like Vista's UAC? But nicer and more understanding cause its Linux.... right?

Nope, similar to the sys tray balloon notifications.

These can be a bit of a pain sometimes, and in windows I usually turn them off.

oh, I gotcha, like the update balloon. I like that balloon.
I never really noticed much from Fedora notifications... Maybe thats why they are re-doing it.

Canonical release Ubuntu, rather than Fedora (which is Redhat)
