Yes, you can browse all of AOA using SSL. You may get some complaints because the ads aren't served via SSL (google has issues), though.

I'm curious about the certificate error you got, though.

It may well be Konqueror's problem rather than the certificate itself. Firefox 3.6 in Linux doesn't complain about the certificate. Konqueror versions 4.3.5 to 4.4.1 all report that AOA's certificate is OK, but the CA for that certificate has itself got an invalid signature.

Is it worth checking out the certificate, or shall I file a bug report on Konqueror?
