Mint 8

Thanks Daniel. I'm quite enjoying Mint 8. I had an issue with Brassero (?) not working and K3B, "cdrecorder" didn't "have permission", but I changed out the CDRW and now they both work. It was just the hardware. I haven't got to try my scanner or printer yet, but so far I'm liking Mint 8.
It's nice to have options.

So many distributions mess up the permissions on k3b, cdrecord (and xcdroast and others) that k3b bundles a program called k3bsetup to fix them.

Your most welcome LP! I've gotten my home network printer to work for the first time in a distro.... On a computer the printer ISN'T connected to... though the network!! LOL

I have to mess around a bit each time I use it, something isn't quite setup right yet, but I CAN get it to work when I need it! I works perfectly on the computer it's actually hooked up to...":O}

I'm using 64 bit now and it recolonizes all 8 gigs of my ram...

I don't think O2's coverage stretches that far, and even if it did the roaming rate would be both literally and figuratively astronomical.
