Mint 12 and Mint R.C. 13 with Mate or Cinnamon

Spent the last few days getting aquainted and set up in all three, each on it's own drive.

This morning Nividia Drivers finally arrived by way of system updates and installed properly...295.49 are the reported Nvidia drivers.

Mint +Mate never had a problem. Cinnamon (The Mint dev. Team's baby) ran great untill the drivers (Nvidid) were installed...Now it just runs great! as does Mint + Mate.

Both offer new features not always easy to understand...for me at least, but putting just a few days in seems the bring a fair amount of clairity to what they were thinking. And thire thinking was Good! ":O}

For me, once I fumbled my way though the tools we are given , configuring the desktop to my liking, why... It's the best Desktop I"ve ever had!":O}

I Do realize that most here have far greater demads of an OS than I.

But maybe this might be worth a look?

I ran both 32 bit and 64 in each distro, didn't see any difference, except,...don't hold me to this, 64 bit may be a bit faster...?

(Please over look the fact that Firefox hasn't quite implamented Spell checking...it's there, just not working ...yet....)

P.S.
I screwed my install of Mint 12 (Yes with the Damn drivers! ":O} But that "Should be" fixed as well. I'm not putting any more time into 12 as 13 is a great depature from 12 and both 13's seems very stable, you just have restart Cinnmon faitrly often while makng tool bar changes and setting up themes.
