Dan, is that screenshot from the installation that we are working in? If it is, it says that the necessary libqtcore4 is installed already.

Don't try to guess the package name, it's different in every distro. I knew it would be something like 'qt-core' [but probably not exactly].

OK, two things to try.

First, try running:

daniel@debian ~/systester $ sudo ./systester
I don't think running it as root will change things, but let's see for sure.

If that does not work, get this file:
System Stability Tester 1.4.0/64-bit

This is a slightly older version, but maybe the dependencies on qt are more relaxed. Make another directory, call it systester_2 or something, untar the archive into it and try to run the app from that new directory.
