Mint 13 or latest Ubuntu?

Can I install on the second partition without afecting the first one? Will it add itself to the boot sequence?

Boo can help you with the dual boot, he LIKES to do dual boots!

Diffienity Mint 13. The ubuntu release is very good, but Mint deliberately lags behind to ensure stabilty...and they pretty much succeed at what they do. ":O}

There must be an option to re-install to that partition?

Yeah....I've never been any good with partitions beyond the most basic...

You did back up your Win 7 install right?

If so I'd consider tapping Booman as to the best way to install both using defaults you can understand and work with Chris..

I've always used separate drives, but using a laptop kinda limits that...

If your stuck in the middle now, why not install Mint and mess about with it, see if it's worth it to you to go to the trouble to dual boot.

Just keep reminding yourself that it's only software, you can't break anything that can't be repaired...":O}
