Win 8 Snap or Good Ole Linux Desktop?

I was reading this in-depth article about Windows 8 and the GUI... here: Controlling The Windows 8 UI and it really seems a lot like the good Ole Linux mutliple Desktops.

I have been talking about Winblows copying this Linux feature for years and they kinda have in Win 8.
You can scroll through multiple full-screen apps with Snap.

I'll have to try it when I get a chance to install Win 8 again, but I'm already preferring the multiple desktops in Linux.
I use them so much that its hard to work in Winblow without them.

It's not multiple desktops, that's for sure. There is the Metro style "desktop", which is segregated from the normal desktop, and metro apps are all full screen. This helps to maintain the same experience on mobile devices, tablets and desktops/laptops
