Leaving WCG for a while...

Recently AOA's very own TEAM45 has been slipping back down the rankings,a big dent occured when some of the multi-pc people moved over to WCG and I hate to see AOA's pet project failing.
Apart from a few of us there appears to be little to no interest in WCG, I know its not about numbers and its the cause that counts but to be honest I can't say I think F@H puts our time/CPU's to less good use than WCG.
After reading the WCG forums it seems LP isnt going to be returning soon due to family problems with which I wish her all the best, I have stepped into her shoes a little keeping results updated and trying to rouse support for the project, however after the initial two weeks or so nobody has joined and two have left. This is why ive decided to move back to F@H and give our very own TEAM45 a helping hand back up the ladder.
I hope the few who are currently contributing to the project decide whats best for them and keep putting that spare CPU-time to good use.

Try to make it a 25 PC's countdown, Cristian. 50 may be a little over the top, but 25 should be possible, and would surely increase the output. I'll see if I can get a couple of cellies to run F@H at college.

Awesome - the cause is just as good, and we can always use hands to give Team 45 a buff!

Since you already have 1315 F@H points we see no need for you to look any further in this WCG project and we think you should look up to the 33 PC's countdown and give us a hand! Much appreciated !

Chris

I feel ya man and have been thinking the same thing myself. The linux box is back up finally after this weekend. Turns out all it was, was a gateway setting. No big deal though as I got to try Fedora Core 5. It's not for me right now. I don't have the time or patience to play with it right now.

So with that.... I'll probably start folding on this box again this week.

I wish LP the best and I hope she and her mom are doing well. It's just AOA really need a cheerleader for the project right now to move it along.
