Unlocking Apps Proliferate for Apple's iPhone

The iPhone unlocking applications -- one of which has been released for free by the iPhone Dev Team -- have a "gray market" quality right now, which means mainstream consumers will be hesitant to use these tools to unlock an iPhone unless they get blessed by the tech gurus in the mainstream press, according to analyst Greg Sterling.
