I'm not sure what the relationship is...but I think Firefox grew out of Netscape's open source projects.?

Firefox is a cut down version of what was the mozilla suite in that is was browser only, thunderbird became mail only part of that suite.

Seamonkey is essentially the next version of the moz suite (1.8) just its got a new more funky name.

Oh and for those trying IE7 you must have a valid copy of win xp, else it wont work

Seamonkey yes, IE7 not that version but i did play with it abit in the vista beta.

Seamonkey is very much like the old moz suite and still suffers from the same 'features' like when you press ctrl + enter to do the whole http://www.*.com addition to a url it doesnt do it, except it open a new window then hunts down the website
