Anyone for Vinyl? No DRM there, and with modern players, you can also copy them onto your computer in any non DRM ridden format you want.

I think it may make a comback, I may just be forced to only purchase vinyl in the future.

That's what you think. Won't be long before sound cards will only accept a digital input with the correct DRM on it...

yay, that means having to buy a seperate sound card for each type of DRM.

Also then what happens to those who have their own label and don't use DRM?

Hopefully, this DRM nonsense will die a death before we find out all these answers.

The media world has changed radically and the fat cat labels just can't adapt fast enough. So, they come up with all this unworkable rubbish in an attempt to salvage the situation.

I think the problem is that the board of directors are just too old and out of touch.

So, you have Sony buying in to Hollywood and losing out. Meanwhile, the young guns at Google have just bought out YouTube. I think the guys at Google have a better understanding of how things will be and how to make money out of music and video.

Daniel feels the iron hand of goggle flexing it's greater competence to squeeze out the last penny from all it grabs...More competence I agree, but the same exact intention and lack of moral restraint.

Goggle is a good friend to our oppressors...ask China...

I know you know this Dan, I'm just blowing off steam...":O}
