Advice on Salsa PLease

I'm not sure that this is the correct area for this but I was wondering if some one could give me some advice please.

We are in the middle of getting a web site prepared and one of the things being pushed quite heavily is a product called Salsa. More details are here but in essence it claims to be a way of getting your site higher up the search engines, at a cost of course. (I have a basic grasp of the principle that a "dummy" page attractive to the web site assessors is created) That page by the way has nothing to do with the Company we are using.

While it looks quite impressive what I wanted to know is this just another gimmick? I don't mind spending the money if it's actually worthwhile. They "guarantee" first page placement but in time wont the little guy still get pushed out/down?

dod, you should contact Betty. She has pushed AOA in the search engines since we began with enormous success! If she has the time I'm sure she can tell you how to go about doing this for your self.

Having a Betty to go to bat for us we have never tried the "Services" of others.
