Motorola 68000 Programming Help

I'm doing a Microprocessors course at Uni. I've got to learn how to program my own programs from scratch that will run on a Motorola 68000 Processor (simulated).

I seem to be ok at the moment, but I've only got 5 weeks, and I wondered if there was anyone here who has experience programming onto these chips who would be willing to offer their help.

Thanks.

What do you need to know? I'm willing to help, but it's been close to 15 years since I've done any serious work on the 68K family.

It's just using the assembly language, nothing to do with other languages and then assembling them etc, all I have to do is use a free program called easy68K or something, write the code, and run it. It compiles it for you.
I'm not sure exactly what I need to know as such at the moment, I just wondered if anyone would be on hand to help me if I struggle, as tbh I'm likely to.

There are few here who have dealt with 68K assembler, but, like Gizmo, it was a long time ago. The 68K processor is pretty programmer friendly, unlike certain other architectures.

Indeed. If you cut your assembly language teeth on the 68K and then have to do 80x86 assembly programming, you'll run screaming into the night.

Truth be told, it's actually going ok.
I haven't started programming my program yet. I'm off to be at Uni at 2pm to do just that.
Currently, I have been working on my portfolio. It basically needs to consist of the technical background of the 68k processor, a brief on how pc hardware and MPUs work, and then the exercises we've been doing. It will then have my program in it and a conclusion.
