Why is this forum rarly used?

I'm just wondering why this forum is hardly ever used. Comon there must be a fair number of programmers who are members of the AOA Forums.

I'm a programmer. I tend not to ask questions about any problems I run into though. I prefer to struggle and work it out for myself. The underlying algorithms I have no problem keeping clear in my head, it's just the grammer of the particular language that can be the sticking point. It's often trial and error and pure stubborness that gets me through.

The lack of activity here is probably because the forum as a whole is focused on hardware with topics like this as a bit on the side.

I have to slightly agree with you. This is a hardware forum but I think topics like this are only "bits on the side" because people make them that way.

Personally I'd like to see more programmers in here, but then thats just be

Someone can write me a data logger for reading temperatures off a one-wire bus system...
