im having a slight problem with it.... well, maybe not so slight?:

the 1800+ is running at 1150MHz, when the supposed speed should be 1.533GHz. FSB is set at 100MHz, when i try to raise the multiplier, im forced to clear the cmos because it starts beeping.
i can only think of one thing that could be causing it: a jumper setting on the mobo, although it could be somethig else, any ideas?

surely it should be a fsb of 133 and not 100 ?
That would give you the speed you stated with the 11.5x multiplier.
Usually you can decrease x's on amd cpu's but not increase them

yes it should be at 133, but its not. im seriously considering to RMA this board and buy a completely different one. increasing the fsb past 102 prevents the system from POST-ing.

EPOX isnt living up to its reputation.

this will probably be the replacement. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...alog=22&depa=1

Wanna bring it by RussianMissile?!?!? We don't live that far apart and I don't think I would mind having you come over.

where exactly are you?
i am in Santa Monica

if you can fix it, it could be a cheap alternative to getting a new one

From a quick glance at your manual (here http://www.epox.nl/manuals/mu-8rgmI&%2B11.pdf) on page 18 it mentions a fsb jumper which is located near the psu connectors.
It mentions 100/133 mode and 133/166 mode (default)
You could try changing that though i doubt that would get you very far, perhaps a bios update might help. It is supposed to work with that cpu its strange why it isnt.
