Question OK FX 8350-now what?

Now that I have spent money I don't have on a processor I don't need-how do I maximize 8 cores?
Using only the Crome client on both rigs, I'm doing a nice 24,000(approx) PPD. 15,000+ PPD on the FX 8350 and 8,000+ on the FX 4300.
Should I just leave it alone? (tempting!) or try to divide 8 cores into differen't Clients? Fur ball-I'm thinking-'cause I sure don't know how do that!

Leave it alone. Running multiple clients isn't supported.

I don't want to sound like a wuss. Had surgery to correct a hernia on Tuesday the 6th of Feb. Duuh why that's this month. It was months overdue, mostly because I had small health problems that made it wise not to cut me open. Also because they didn't care how huge the sucker became. Thanks guys! For some reason my overheated imagination just gave me a picture of a MASH unit!

Freakin' yesterday's narcotics messed up me mind. And my sense of balance, not good! Love the way police tv shows about real cops always have them saying "narcotics" for any suspected drug under the sun. Alfalfa? Oh yeah. Butylated Hydroxoline? Made that one up, using it for years as a generic word for bad things given us by the chemical industry. It doesn't exist, I've looked for it.

Sorry, rambling on. Be very well!
cloasters.

Eep, kidney stones. Very unhappy to learn of this! Gizmo--used to be a big poster and a very knowledgeable Member, he moved over to that new place, of course. But I was behind the power curve on making that move. A lot of other things, too. OK, I admit it!

Anyhoo, he had kidney or gall stones--I think it was gall stones. He said they hurt worse than getting shot, and he would know. I think he was fortunate (not) enough to stop three bullets personally speaking during his military career. He was at the very sharp end of things. I think he might prefer that I not say anything about that. If so--my definitely most bad. I chose being an avionics tech and worked in an air conditioned shop. Oh, that old war was tough! Hardly, I was a wuss as far as army jobs go. Yay! All the same there were no front lines in that olde war and we were attacked more than once. Oh, those Booms! in the night. Glorious. Not.

So those gall stones hurt beyond belief for him. Thank goodness that mine were barely noticeable. Funny, the Same Day Surgery staff never heard of the surgeon that removed my gall bladder a little more than a year ago. It wasn't a same day and outta here operation back then. Mebbe that's why? He was a hell of a nice guy, plus he did a great job. Made me suspicious of these new people. And there was no pain afterwards with the bye bye gall bladder procedure. Well, very little.

Guess the hernia was more difficult to fix, and I left the same day jokers in real pain.
Thank you! It's much better now, thankfully. Sheeite, I sure ramble on.
Be well,
cloasters

Kidney stones have a way of making my butt pucker! Having a go of drinking LOTS of water to try to get them to pass. one glass every 15min-bathroom visit every 15min as well-what a way to live.
slapped in a new vid card- MSI Geforce GTX 1050 2G OC-replaced EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS. What a beast that card is!

Every 15 mins to the batroom. Arrgh, that's one pita! It's good that you are drinking all of that water, I hope it helps. Great thing about being a vet is the costless or nearly so medical care. Of course you did put your life out there, and believe it or not, you are not supposed to come home. At least that's the Repub view of things, spending money on veterans? Good lord, when there's a golf course that's not green enough? Or spending money for any sort of social care. When all of that dough belongs in my set's pockets? Oh dear, all of those heart attacks and lightning strikes on golf courses. Awful it is. And the VA slowly gets worse. Naturally.

That looks like a very nice Vidcard! Sure hope you really like it! Sone a beetch, I can't remember what video card I put in my latest mosheen. Had all the parts written down, but lost the list. How typical is that for me? Very!
Used to be a prog that made a list of all of your major components. But I can't remember it's name, plus it was a program fer Winders.
Looks like a neoto card, enjoy!

"mosheen!" Is that a kosher rig? Sheesh!
I think I have things where I want them-for now. In a year or two I'll probably start a new one as this mobo has it's legs stretched as far as it will go. Will have to start from scratch-case,mobo,power supply. Looking foward to it Need to start making a list
I'm a gluten for financial punishment! Hobbies are expensive.

New rigs are so nice to contemplate. And so freakin' espensivo to actually acquire. I tell ya, it's always something!

I used to only use power supplies from PC Power and Cooling. Showsa, were they costly. Pretty sure they've been bought out. Their old brand is now impossible to buy, so I must settle on what looks really good from those retail component money grabbers.
But can I trust them?

Natural like, accommodating Linux is now needed. At least you are far better off rolling yer own box. And that's the truth.

Yes sir, gluteny is required for a good hobby. Glad that the stuff doesn't seem to bother my digestive sitch. Oh, but it was fashionable that it did for a while. Boo, you nuts. I didn't fall for that horsefeathers.

Yes, "mosheen" is most kosher. In my tiny book at least. Seriously doubt that any rabbi has passed judgment on the word's use. They are busy with more important issues. Hopefully!

Shucks, can't stretch out this reply to your last post any longer. Whew?
Be good,
cloasters

I prefer to trust than not to trust. That's just a bottom line way to think and feel. Being Optimistic feels better than being pessimistic.

Sounds rather sanctimonious, doesn't it? Oh well***

No ppm, it doesn't sound sanctimonious at all. Some of my posts are much worse in that transgression. I think. LOL.

I appreciate your "advice" and am happy that you can pull that off! And envious, but that's clearly my problem. I seem to be a worry wart and am pessimistic by nature. And it gets worse with age. Always something, Jane!
Hope you get the reference to the Saturday Night Live of decades ago. Just in case you don't, I'm not addressing you as Jane!

I have found it difficult to remain in a positive frame of mind and be a cynic at the same time! The only solution I've found is to enjoy being a cynic!

Is that the same person who waxed poetically with the ever popular " Jane, you Slut!"

Dash it all, seems that I'm too serious for my own good. And how! It seems that I'm not sophisticated enough to pull off being a cynic. What sophistry! I dunno what "sophistry" means, just always wanted to use the word.

It's the same "Jane" but only Chevy Chase addressed her in that rude manner. Not a Chevy fan, btw. Not often really funny and too much of a smug rich boy, imho.

However I must admit that he was very good in National Lampoon's "Vacation." "Holiday Ro-ooo-oo-oo-oo-o- etc. road," to jog your memory. Not the second "Vacation." Ooh, I'm SUCH a critic.

Hope you are doing very well, thank you for the post here in old phart's land!

No fan of Chevy either. Was going to reference Ford but that is just plain pitiful-even for me. I've never seen any of his films. Don't like the guy.

Just what is this ol' phart land? If I remember right-you are in your early 70"s. I am in my mid 60's. I keep ol' phart in front of me at least for another 15 to 20 yrs
(fathe is 93-mom is 89, I'm still a yonker! Re. John Wayne if you remember Big Jake McCandles.

Reference Ford? Sorry, don't know which Ford you mean. Apologies. Nay, nay, nay I'm a wee sprat of sixty eight. Daniel ~ just turned seventy. I guess old phartedness is a state of mind.

My parents are long dead. Personally, in my case a long life might be wasting space on this unfortunate planet. Psst, don't tell any one I said that, please.

Somewhat loathe to admit it but I'm definitely not a fan of John Wayne's. Too many dead Marines probably believed his horsepockey. I was told by a participant in the Pacific theater(don'cha just love those "theaters?") that they actually told Marine recruits in the Pacific zone of WWII that Japanese bullets couldn't hurt them?

Did you know that a former Viet Cong(as we ignorant Americans used to say. Oops, still say.) was interviewed long after that war and had this to say about the American soldiers he once fought? "Very big. Very brave. And very stupid."

Did we pick up the clue phone regarding that stupidity?
Heyell no, we're proud to be Americans!

Sorry, yet another rant from one stupid American.
