Dude, where's my SMP?

Spent an hour yesterday trying to figure out why the new SMP client I'd set up on an X2 was only downloading single thread B4 cores, then when I got home, my Q9450 Quad was sitting there taking a siesta with only 1 core running on a B4 core as well...

Both now on A3 SMP cores but I guess they are running low on SMP workloads at the moment.

It's a server problem now solved:

I had the same behavior yesterday. Restart the client and it should be OK now. You should not be getting b4 or a0 WUs.

I too had no smp work but only on 2 rigs. let it ride and all is well again.

yes we volunteer our cpu/gpu cycles for Folding. can't get too excited when things slow down. after all, there are nearly 4million folders out there wanting to keep busy. last I looked, PG had one or two ppl keeping all of the servers WORKING. not a job for the timid!!!
